The GolfBuddy LR5 is the easiest rangefinder to use yet.
The ‘Mode’ and ‘Power’ buttons sit alongside each other on the top of the unit, making it simpler for the user to select the operational mode and press the laser.
The battery compartment with its flip-and-twist flap is relocated at the rear of the LR5, and a non-slip grip pad has been introduced on the side of the rangefinder to give added traction and stability in the hand in wind and rain. And a permanent battery power indicator in the unit’s display lets users know when it’s time to replace the CR2 3V battery included.
All this is finished off in an eye-catching new grey and blue casing with smart metallic detailing and edging to the lens casings, eyepiece and all buttons.
The GolfBuddy LR5 is equipped with three operational modes. ‘Scan’ provides a continuous 10-second display of all objects located; ‘Pin’ homes in on the flag and factors out background noise from trees etc, to give precise readings; and ‘Standard’ provides a single distance to any chosen target from flag to dogleg point or hazard edge.
