Scotty Cameron has designed the Futura X5R Mallet Putter to be part of the latest face balanced range. Face balanced putters are best suited for golfers who bring the putter straight-back-straight-through and the subtle difference between the X5R and the X5 Mallet Putters is that the X5R is a little more rounded.
The face and the body of the Scotty Cameron Futura X5R Mallet is made from a stainless steel, the face has been precision milled and the weight is located lower and pulled back away from the face to promote a much more consistent roll off the face for improved distance control.
The Futura X5R features a lightweight aluminium sole plate to help save weight and the rounder design has allowed the creation of flanges for visual aids which help line up to the target.
