Description
The TaylorMade M2 D-Type driver for 2017 has been specifically designed to reduce the shape of fade/slice off the tee.
TaylorMade’s D-Type driver features a combination of draw-biased heel weighting, an increased offset and a more upright position that will help to reduce side spin.
The actual head of the M2 2017 driver features a weight saving 6-layer carbon crown with a 9-1-1 skeletal titanium body and features a head stabilising fixed back weight.
By saving weight with the multi-material design TaylorMade have been able to relocate it to areas that will benefit your long game. It has lowered the CG, raised MOI and increased forgiveness for total all round performance gains.
TaylorMade have re-engineered their Speed Pocket on the second generation M2. It is now deeper and three times more active than the previous model and now delivers incredible face flex and forgiveness across the whole face.
A great plus point of the Speed Pocket is that it helps to generate a high launch with low spin, great for gaining those extra yards.
TaylorMade have developed a technology called GEOCOUSTIC which is an advanced sole technology that enables club face expansion for even more forgiveness on tee shots. External sound ribs have also been used in the design of the multi-material head to optimise vibration that leads to excellent sound and feel.
As with all TaylorMade drivers they all come fitted with the loft sleeve that will allow you to fine tune the loft to suit your preferences in terms of launch and spin to achieve maximum distance.
